My diss at Sidney is just the playoff emotions of a Sens fan living in Ottawa.

I have a lot of respect and admiration for Sidney Crosby (even if he is from Cole Harbour, and not Iroquois Falls). He is under intense pressure at a young age, but handles it with great maturity. He is truly the Wayne Gretzky of his generation, in many ways.

As I'm writing this, the anthem singer in Vancouver is letting the crowd sing part of O Canada. It sounded great. Obviously, Vancouverites have learned well from our American neighbours, and actually SING the national anthem. Good on them.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02820283554188267414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30528011.post-39344316085552210132007-04-13T18:06:00.000-04:002007-04-13T18:06:00.000-04:00I knew there was a reason I liked ya JB... Just 19 years old, and just about the best there is in the NHL. That's an enviable amount of talent! Anyone who's been to Nova Scotia knows what kind of a miracle it is to have one of the world's best hockey players, who just keeps getting better, come from such a small place. I'm not sure the current version of his team is old enough to appreciate the opportunity they have right now in the post-season, but they had the best record in the NHL since January of this year, so I'm sure the Sens won't make the mistake of taking them lightly. Now that they're a game up on Sid's Pens, they'd better not make the mistake of taking their collective foot off the gas!JBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12518937433074671592noreply@blogger.com
