But here's one for which I'll be immensely thankful for the rest of my life.
This is the first photograph of my soon-to-be Little Niece or Little Nephew (I have a bet with her Grandma that she'll be a girl -- Isabelle).
Yes, you are looking at the first sonogram of Little Bro Dan and Pretty Christine's baby, who is due to arrive on or about March 6, 2010. It was taken during the 12th week of gestation.See her little head and priceless little hand, to the centre right of the pic? Isn't she beautiful?

Puts a whole new perspective on life, eh Bob? When someone passes away, I believe they will have a helping hand in new life that is about to begin. I think Misha may be this little one's guardian angel...:)
Could be. I wouldn't dispute that, and could even add a couple examples from my own past.
Being surrogate Grandpa to Isabelle or Alex will be the closest I'll ever get to being a full-fledged Grandpa, and like being Big Brother to his or her Dad, it's going to be fantastic!
