Okay, more Dubai photos

Welcome to my desert.
"He's got the Burj Al Arab in his hands..."

This one's for the guys. Notice how blue the water of the Arabian Gulf is?

Eating sushi at the Bamboo Lagoon in the Marriott Hotel. The first time I've ever been brave enough to eat sushi. Now I know what people mean when they say it's an acquired taste...
Have you had enough for now?

No, I haven't had enough... more more more!

By the way, who's the blonde?

The only sushi I eat is the veggie ones or the cooked shrimp, and that doesn't even count as REAL SUSHI!

The blonde is Heather, the Hostess with the Mostest, wife of Rick, Host with the Most/College Roommate.

Hey I saw a bit of cellulite on those thighs ...

Thighs? What thighs?

Ahhhhhhhh OK, I was just checking on your personal life.

So, your roommate and his wife have been living in Dubau for how long? Do they like it there?

Hey, in the second pic is the girl laying down behind you on the beach topless?

Okay, Maria -
The person behind Bob in picture #2

IS A GUY!

...or the ugliest woman I have EVER seen.

The dead giveaway would be the bit of facial hair under his lip which some refer to as a 'soul patch'.

p.s. Yes, topless. I'm laughing inside my head at you right now.

Rick and Heather have lived in Dubai for 7 1/2 years. They love it, but do miss Canada. They'll be moving back in the next few years, before Ben starts high school. He'll be 6 in March.

JB: I laughed for a SOLID 5 minutes... it is a guy isn't it?
I never noticed the facial hair. I just thought I saw a nipple and just assumed it was an ugly woman!

Too damn funny for words!

Um, Maria, Hon: Dubai is in a Muslim country. It might be very liberal, but bikini is one thing, and nude is something else. Besides, do you think that if I was that close to a naked woman, I'd be posing for a goofy picture?

OK OK fellas... I need a stronger prescription for my glasses - thanks for pointing it out. HEH!

I love sushi.

Love.

Ya gotta admit, N@, where we come from, sushi is called bait!
I worked in Toronto with a guy who is married to a Japanese girl. He was always trying to get me to try sushi. I told him that another marvellous Japanese invention is the Hibachi, and if he would throw some of that bait on the Hibachi for a few minutes, I would eat it.
We also discussed a deal in which he would listen to country music radio for an hour, if I would eat three pieces of sushi.

I love wasabi.
Call me crazy, but it clears my sinuses for like - a month.

JB: You're crazy.
