Any story ideas?

It's a very slow day in Ottawa (In news, we never use the Q-word -- as in not noisy -- cuz it invariably causes the poop to hit the fan) and we need some story ideas.

Any suggestions? Use your imagination. Buehler? Buehler?

Too late - only seeing this now, at almost 6pm...
If I were here earlier, I would have suggested finding a local angle on this:
"HALIFAX - A 10-year-old Vietnamese orphan has left Halifax for Boston to begin at least a year of treatment to shrink a disfiguring facial growth. Son Pham was expected to arrive in Boston on Sunday night, where doctors at the local children's hospital plan to spend the next week assessing him and preparing him for treatment. Son came to Canada from a small village in Vietnam last summer, first approaching the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto but then turning to U.S. doctors when the Toronto hospital decided not to proceed.
Olwyn Walter, who has been caring for Son since he arrived in Halifax last June, says the boy is in good spirits and is eager to finally start his treatment. A team of plastic surgeons is expected to five Son a series of injections every six to eight weeks for at least a year to shrink the growth - a process called sclerotherapy - followed by surgery.
Walter says doctors will determine when Son will receive his first treatment after meeting with him this week."
You could find a local doctor (because doctors are so easy to find on Sundays) who might suggest why the surgery is risky, or might even comment on why Sick Kids in Toronto opted not to perform the surgery, etc.
That's all I got. Plus, how will the Sens get along without Heatley? Oh, sorry, that's sports.

Thanks, guys. But where were you when I really needed you?

I especially like Corn's and Kitty's ideas, and might save them for a future weekend.
