Finally, justice is done...

...and its name is OJ.
May you soon be some big guy's bitch.
Rot in jail, you murderous scum.
How dare you try to portray yourself as a victim, and stage that tearful act of contrition. Maybe you're not such a bad actor after all. But for that, too, you should be ashamed.
Rest well, Nicole and Ron. It took a while and on another case, but the end result is a small measure of justice for you.

I smiled when the judge made her comment on his arrogance and ignorance.

I was going to post on this too but Bobby beat me to it and I am going to leave it at that bc OJ does not deserve my time other than to say thank God justice prevailed and the families of Ron & Nicole have some sort of final retribution .

Well, at least the 'real killers' can rest easy knowing that he won't be able to continue his relentless pursuit of them from golf course to golf course for the next 30 or so years.
My wish is that he never again experiences freedom. I am somewhat shocked that the judge could actually give a penalty of this length for this particular crime, without it appearing as if it was somehow based on his past (which is, of course, illegal) indiscretions, but since it apparently is within the law to put him behind bars for this long for this crime, perhaps there is indeed a little bit of justice in the world after all.

I saw his lawyers on Larry King Live the night of the sentencing, and he asked whether they thought his past had some bearing on the sentence, regardless of the actual legality of such a thing, the relevance of it to thiscase, etc.
One of the lawyers said neither of them had ever been involved in a case in which the defendant's past was so well known. He said it's not like defending just some ordinary Joe with a past, that the jurors never hear of. He said that was obviously impossible in this OJ case.
See? No legal system or political system is perfect. That's impossible.
